XXVIth Dynasty, Ca. 646 to 525 BC.

A quality cast bronze standing figure of the mummiform God, Osiris, wearing a double maat feather crown, with horns and the uraeus serpent frontice piece. He holds implements in both hands. Fine face with inlaid eyes. Greenish black surface patina with scattered areas of red-brown oxides. Excellent condition.

Size 6-3/4 inches H. + 10 inches on tall wood block.
Provenance: Ex Penn estate Collection.
